The date has been set! Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 7th from 8-1. We had a record participation last year. Let’s all get involved! Here is your chance to get rid of things you’re not using and hopefully make a little money doing it! If you plan on participating, please, contact our coordinators, Ray and Joyce Borzelliere, 723-9728, and let them know what you are selling, so they can better advertise for it. Our HOA pays for the advertising and signage. See you there!!
Welcome…Steve Edinger and his fiancée, Rachel, who recently purchased their first home in our neighborhood. Previously, Steve was working in Miami for the cruise lines and grew up in Virginia Beach, VA. He currently works in the Business Process department for Catalina Marketing and is an avid boater/fisherman.
There is one vacant seat on our Board of Directors. Please contact the Board if you are interested in volunteering. Thank you!
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office monitors our neighborhood due to chronic complaints of speeding and stop sign violations. SO… slow down and obey the stop signs. Please, do your part to help make our neighborhood safe for our families.
If you have something you would like to see in our newsletter, please let us know. You can contact a Board Member or you can send an email to TammiiG@aol.com
2008 has been a difficult year for a lot of people. We wish each and every family a prosperous, healthy and happy new year to come. There are many families who may share common interests. We have a wonderful little community here and it would be a shame to miss out on what you can bring to others’ lives and vice versa. Take time to become acquainted with your neighbors this year.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank former Board Treasurer Cheryl Lapham for her 4 years of service on the HOA Board. She worked hard assuring our books were correct and tirelessly preached the need to be frugal. I have seen her running many laps of the City thinking of ways to save money. We have all been fortunate to have had some of her skilled time donated to our subdivision.
Thank you, too, Beth Veakis, who also donated her time in 2008 as a Board Director. Beth continues to serve as our Architectural Committee Chair and is on the Beautification Committee. We appreciate your service.
The Bay area is currently experiencing some tough financial times. Our subdivision has faired much better than many in the Bay area. However, we do have several foreclosures. This has resulted in some loss of Association fees. Given reduced home values, some of the fees may not be recovered through the foreclosure process.
